Abraham: Father of us All

For years I have tried to reconcile the image of Muslims as terrorists who hurt innocent people with my personal experiences of Muslims as lavishly hospitable toward strangers.

An acquaintance, Matt Krause, is walking from Turkey’s Aegean seacoast to its Iranian border. In one of his recent blog posts (http://heathenpilgrim.com/), he mentions a Harvard professor, William Ury, who believes that our common connection to Abraham—and a commitment to walking—can help solve problems between Muslims, Jews and Christians.
